ACXBiofuels combines ACX's blockchain-based technology with its deep expertise in environmental products and biofuels. The ACXBiofuels platform offers a unique marketplace where existing biofuels and feedstock contracts, published by reputable sources like Argus and Platts and widely used in the biofuels trading community, can be traded. This platform also accommodates new contracts, such as Global Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Global Used Cooking Oil (UCO). By consolidating these offerings in one marketplace, ACX provides a trusted, transparent, and efficient platform for matching buyers and sellers. Additionally, it introduces an arbitrage opportunity by bridging the gap between publishing platforms and ACX's 24/5 marketplace.
Platform Hours
The ACXBiofuels platform is available 24/5, following the London GMT ICE Gas Oil Calendar.
ACX may periodically make adjustments to the platform hours and will notify Participants of any changes.
Platform Overview
All biofuel and feedstock contracts on ACXBiofuels will be traded in Metric Tons, with pricing based on a premium or discount to the prevailing Ice Gas Oil price. Participants who match on ACXBiofuels will mutually determine the contract pricing.
ACX will publish available pricing settlements daily. The market and pricing history for each biofuel contract will be made available for all Participants via the ACXBiofuels trading platform.
Platform Access
All Participants, are required to undergo Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification with ACX, and must be approved by ISCC or any RED Certifier. For SAF contracts, all principals must have ISCC CORSIA registration.
While brokers are not obligated to be ISCC certified, they must ensure that their clients are registered with ACX.
